We have listened to our candidates and we understand that you want to know what to expect when attending the initial face-to-face interview with a Bridgewater Consultant. We are happy to oblige!
If you have been successful in your application and have been invited to attend an interview with Bridgewater, here is everything you need to know:
1. No research is required
At this stage, we want to get to know more about you, your experience and your ambitions. We provide you with all the information about the employer at the interview, so you don’t need to do any research on the company prior to interview. We will tell you all about them and what they are looking for in more depth. Additionally, having got to know more about your personality and what you are looking for, we will be able to fill you in with how the opportunity matches your ambitions.
2. We like candidates who look the part
This is a general rule for any interview you attend. Here at Bridgewater we like to see smart and professional-looking individuals as this is the kind of image that will fit in well with our clients. Remember, this is a formal interview so dress to impress.
3. Try to relax
While an interview can be nerve-wracking, we promise that all of our Consultants are friendly and easy to talk to. They are looking forward to meeting with you and want you to do your best at interview. Try to relax and be yourself so that we get to see your personality.
4. Questions to consider

5. Our process
The Consultant you are working with will decide whether to put you forward to the client after this face-to-face interview. They will also explain the next stage of the process and will be able to answer any questions you may have. Your Consultant will work with you at each stage and pass on their knowledge in order to give you the best chances of being successful.
