Management Consultant

A respected and well-known member of the Management Consultancies Association are, due to increasing projects, now looking for Management Consultants who are passionate about problem-solving, delivering results and nurturing long-lasting relationships to join them as trusted advisors.

They help large organisations all over the United Kingdom, Europe, and in the United States to restructure, merge acquisitions, cut costs, increase performance and profit, and manage people. Emphasising results and value for money, they are known to give an exceptional return on the investment and adopt a hands-on approach when working with clients, who they view as people not companies.

Role Responsibilities

As an agile business with the ability to compete with leading consultancies on an international scale whilst remaining true to their values and principles, their work usually focuses on organisation, process, people and costs. They use this simple framework to manage complex assignments and to support managers on smaller, more focused projects.

As a Management Consultant, you will:

• Complete assignments in a wide range of industries and public sector organisations i.e. construction, building, nuclear and private equity companies
• Deliver a tailored service to each client and your success will be determined by your ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders
• Strive for outstanding results in reducing costs, improving performance and managing change
• Help to complete complex projects, typically involving major performance improvements in large organisations (projects last for 3 months on average and some international travel may be required)

Requirements

It is not essential to have worked as a Management Consultant previously. We look for well-educated people with different skills, with line management and operational responsibility in diverse sectors such as operations, process, engineering or supply chain.

• Have an exceptional educational background (preferably a first-class degree from a top university)
• Can demonstrate a progressive career with some line-management and operational management experience
• Are passionate about solving business challenges and providing insight and expertise
• Are self-assured and able to assemble convincing and commercial arguments and to present them persuasively
