A market-leading £1 billion turnover group of distribution and wholesale businesses are looking for a motivated Graduate Operations & Logistics Trainee to join their business in Newton Abbot. You’ll gain valuable experience across different areas of a business that are passionate about developing graduate talent.
Role Responsibilities
The business you’ll be joining are well-established in their sector and distribute a wide range of home, DIY and garden products to business customers throughout the South West and Wales. As a Graduate Operations & Logistics Trainee, you will:
Receive tailored training from an experienced and successful manager who himself joined the business as a graduate trainee
Gain insight into various areas of the business, rotating through various departments including transport, logistics, inventory control, administration and fleet management
Learn how all of the departments work and come together
Complete and end up managing things such as driver routing, fleet compliance etc
Have opportunities to progress and work within different operations departments in the business

The package for this graduate business role includes:
An initial starting salary of £24,000 – £25,000
