Branch Manager – Electrical Wholesale

A market leader in the electrical wholesale industry are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager to run their established and successful electrical wholesale business in Galway.

You’ll be joining a distribution group with an impressive annual turnover exceeding £1.7 billion, who currently employ over 4,000 people across Ireland and the UK. The business pride themselves on building long-lasting relationships with their customers, suppliers and employees.

The Role

The role of a Branch Manager within the group is an exciting one, you will be in effect running your own business. You will have full autonomy and freedom over stock, purchasing, staffing, logistics, trading hours and much more.

As a Branch Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for all aspects of running the branch
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Ensure the achievement of set targets and objectives
• Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to develop company performance and revenue
• Present, communicate and sell to all levels

Essential Requirements

We’re looking for someone with an electrical wholesale background, or solid experience in a similar industry. You need to be an ambitious and driven salesperson who has a proven history within business development and external sales. Previous branch management experience is preferred, however we will consider high calibre salespeople wanting to progress their career.
