A successful distribution business is looking for an ambitious Trainee Area Sales Manager to join their growing location in Marsh Barton, Exeter. Their commercial training programme offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you can make an impact and build strong business relationships.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a leading super distributor of electrical products belonging to a global group of companies who employ over 1,700 people throughout the UK. With year-on-year growth, they are a well-established business with a fantastic reputation. The business is a key supplier to the UK electrical wholesale market and works with major manufacturers including Tassimo, Dyson, Morphy Richards, Bosch and Philips, to name a few.

As a Trainee Area Sales Manager, you’ll embark on a commercial training programme, offering:

  • Insight into various business operations
  • Tailored training and development opportunities
  • Mentorship from a successful manager
  • Hands-on involvement in the business’s day-to-day operations including use of company vans (hence driving licence is required)
  • Exposure and quick progression to a fast-paced B2B sales environment
  • Opportunities to build lasting relationships with B2B customers

As a Trainee Area Sales Manager, you will receive:

  • Starting salary of £27,500 – £30,000

To be successful in this Trainee Area Sales Manager role, you should be:

  • In possession of a full UK driving licence
