A growing distribution business is looking for a motivated and organised Office Administrator to join their successful team at their new office in Middlesbrough. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of their office, being responsible for various administrative tasks, providing support to the sales team, and helping to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Role Responsibilities
You’ll be joining a specialist renewables division within a national £1.7 billion group of electrical distribution companies. The business is dedicated to delivering sustainable electrical solutions that drive positive change for our planet. As an Office Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks
Maintaining organised records and files
Handling invoice payments
Monitoring and collecting payments by contacting customers over the phone
Liaising with the central credit office
Communicating effectively with different departments within the business

A starting salary of £27,000 – £30,000

Requirements
To be successful in this Office Administrator role, you should have:
Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic computer skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive and positive attitude
