One of the UK’s largest plumbing and heating merchants is looking for a motivated Internal Salesperson to join their team in Ancoats, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can make an impact and build strong business relationships.
You’ll be joining a successful business that had record sales last year and they are looking to continue to build on this success. Given its location within a thriving city, there is excellent potential for business growth.
As an Internal Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and clients – with a particular focus on commercial clients
Making proactive calls and be able to spot opportunities to grow the business
Advising customers on the best solution available to meet their requirements over the trade counter and phone
Ensuring the achievement of set targets and objectives
Representing the business in a confident and professional manner
Getting involved in project work, for example, for new buildings and city centre apartments
You will receive:
A starting salary between £26,000 – £30,000
A lucrative uncapped bonus, linked to your performance and that of your branch
Mentoring and support from an experienced manager
Opportunities to progress to field sales

To be successful in this Internal Sales role, you should:
Ideally have sales / account management / trade counter experience within the plumbing and heating industry (or similar)
Be a quick learner with great communication skills and the ability to multitask
Be proactive, energetic and enthusiastic with a confident telephone manner
Have self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
