A market-leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical products is looking for an ambitious and confident Graduate Area Sales Manager to join their successful team. You will immerse yourself in an intensive training period and progress quickly to building and managing relationships with B2B customers across the North East.

The company you’ll be joining has a strong reputation in their market and its products are specified and installed in several prestigious projects and developments globally and nationwide, including Wembley Stadium, Dubai Airport and the London Underground. They are one of the largest suppliers of electrical accessories and exports to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean and belong to a major UK group of specialist distributors who have an impressive turnover exceeding £900 million and a proven track record of developing graduate talent.

Role Responsibilities

Following a fast-track 6-8 weeks’ introductory training period at the company’s Head Office in Luton (accommodation will be provided), you will progress to an Area Sales Manager role covering the North East region. You will:

  • Gain insight into various areas of the business including commercial agreements, suppliers, internal sales and more
  • Receive products and skills training, including sales training
  • Work closely with the Sales Director
  • Manage relationships with new and existing B2B customers throughout the region
  • Use your product knowledge and influencing skills to sell an impressive portfolio of products
  • Carry out customer visits to assess their business needs
