Business Manager – B2B Wholesale

Joining this successful wholesale business in Cavan as a Business Manager, you will divide your time between field sales and business management responsibilities. You will proactively gain new business and also look after a number of existing accounts. On top to this you will have autonomy and freedom over running the business in general, overseeing stock, purchasing, staffing, logistics, trading hours and much more.

The Role

You’ll be joining a distribution group with an impressive annual turnover exceeding £1.3 billion, who currently employ over 4,500 people across Ireland and the UK. The business pride themselves on building long-lasting relationships with their customers, suppliers and employees.

As a Business Manager, you will:

• Develop, grow as well as maintain relationships with both new and existing customers
• Be responsible for the running of the entire business, including full P&L, managing and mentoring employees, driving sales, marketing, logistics and purchasing
• Have the autonomy and freedom in running the business and putting your own stamp on things
• Ensure the achievement of your set targets and objectives
• Oversee, manage and mentor a small team within the branch
• Drive sales growth and company performance

Essential Requirements

We’re looking for someone with a B2B or wholesale background. You need to be an ambitious and driven salesperson who has a proven history within business development and external sales. Previous branch management experience is preferred, however we will consider high calibre salespeople wanting to progress their career.
