Role Responsibilities
In this Business Development Manager role, you will have sole responsibility for the business’ toothbrush chargers product line. You will:
Proactively identify and pursue potential customers in target markets (DIY retailers, bathroom distributors, electrical wholesalers and building merchants) through lead generation, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Establish strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Travel across the UK as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve individual and team sales goals, including revenue growth and market share expansion.
Conduct product presentations, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts
Work closely with the product development, customer support, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful product implementations.

Requirements
To be successful in this Business Development Manager role, you should have:
At least 2+ years in a B2B sales roles (experience in selling technology or consumer electronics products is a plus)
Experience of selling at corporate chain level
Established relevant contacts across the national wholesale and retail market
A proven track record and measurable success in terms of delivering sales revenue and driving up demand
Strong management and communications skills
The ability to work using your own initiative being proactive and creative
