Many graduates are unsure of what to expect in terms of their salary when looking for their first graduate job. Some face a reality check and have to lower their expectations and others are pleasantly surprised by their salary prospects. According to HECSU’s What Do Graduates Do? Report, the average salary for UK graduates in full-time employment six months after graduating ranges from £18,000-£24,000. We think that this is fairly realistic.
